New shed

posted Nov 8, 2020, 3:15 PM by Troop 194

The troop started to build a new storage shed at the church. We decided to do this because the place we used to have our stuff stored at, the Hazel Dell mushroom farm, was bought out, and the new owner doesn't want us to store our stuff there anymore. So we asked the St. Elizabeth church if we could store our gear on their property, and they said yes. The new shed's dimensions will be approximately 8'x16'. We also plan to rebuild the fence surrounding the area where the shed is built.

The troop went up to Curt Gowdy state park in Wyoming for the weekend. While there we competed against other troops in several activities that were themed around aviation, an example would be when the scouts were given a variety of materials to build paper planes, and who ever threw theirs the farthest won. After competing in these activities we decided to do some service work on the trail to hidden falls in Curt Gowdy. As you can see in the images below it was pretty smoky too!
